The Fort Distillery exists to create drinks that introduce our customers to new, yet comfortable experiences. We are a youthful, growing company with tons of potential ahead of us. We distribute the Fort Distillery brand and the Tumbler & Rocks brand across Western Canada and the United States. Job purpose
Being our brand representative means that you will be an ambassador for our brand, story, and products. Your purpose will be to grow the Fort Distillery and Tumbler & Rocks Brands across Alberta. You will be the face of our brand and be an integral part of our company.
Duties and responsibilities
- Attend farmers markets, industry events (beverage festivals, etc) and make sales calls
- Identify and pursue business opportunities (new customers)
- Follow up and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Deliver orders throughout the Edmonton and Calgary areas
- Must be able to do a weekly trip to Calgary/Banff
Qualifications
- Must meet the eligibility criteria for Canada Summer Jobs Grant
- Must be enrolled in school and returning in September
- Outgoing and fun personality
- Customer service/ farmers market experience is an asset
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge and Interest of craft beverages
- Highly motivated to achieve goals and targets
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Effective time management skills
Working conditions
- 35 hours per week
- $16-$18 per hour
- You will be provided with either a company vehicle, or a travel stipend for your own vehicle.
Physical requirements
Must be able to comfortably lift up to 30 pounds.
